Changed from science to web development, and learned how to rebuild a career later in life.

started my professional life in science, with a background in chemistry and computational research, but later I changed direction and became a web developer. It was not a perfect or easy path. I had to learn new tools, rebuild my confidence, work with clients, teach, apply for jobs, and slowly understand how to create value in a new field. I can speak with people who are thinking about changing careers, learning tech later in life, freelancing, building something small from zero, or trying to become more confident in a technical world. I do not present myself as someone who had a perfect linear career. My experience is more honest: learning, trying, making mistakes, rebuilding, and continuing anyway.

I am a web developer with a science background. I moved from chemistry and research into software development, and over the years I have worked with React, Next.js, TypeScript, PHP, databases, websites, teaching, and AI-assisted development. I am also a mother, a multilingual person, and someone who understands how complicated real life can be while trying to grow professionally. I enjoy honest conversations with people who are in a transition period — especially people who are learning something new, changing direction, or trying to build confidence after a difficult or uncertain chapter.
